- 18th - The Times reviews The White Shadow and says that "In spite of the weakness of its story, however, the film is worth seeing for the excellent acting of Miss Compson and of Mr. Clive Brook, and for the cleverness of the production."[1]
March
- Eden Phillpotts' comic play The Farmer's Wife begins it's London run at the Court Theatre. It will go on to become a huge success, running for a record-breaking 1,329 performances and reportedly generating box office takings of over £200,000. It eventually closes on 29th January 1927.[2]
April
- 18th - Licensed victualler Harry Lee dies, aged 31, leaving Hitchcock's sister Ellen Kathleen a widow with two young sons.

July
- Gainsborough Pictures' The Passionate Adventure premiers.[3]
August
- 18th - The Times reviews The Passionate Adventure and says the film contains "pleasant and exciting moments, and much of the acting is unusually good."[4]
September
- Graham Cutts, Alfred Hitchcock and Alma Reville arrive Berlin to film The Blackguard, a joint production between Gainsborough Pictures and the Ufa Studios.[5]

November
December
- Filming of The Blackguard is completed in Berlin and the Gainsborough Pictures staff, including Alma and Alfred, return to London.[6]
