Charlotte Street, London
Charlotte Street, named in honour of Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III, is located in Fitzrovia, central London.
The street is a popular nightlife location and contains a large number of restaurants and cafes, including the French restaurant L'Étoile which was a favourite of Alfred Hitchcock.
The famous Scala Theatre, which was used as a location in Stage Fright (1950), was located at 60 Charlotte Street.
