Established at the start of the 1900s, the L'Étoile restaurant at 30 Charlotte Street specialises in French cuisine and was a favourite of both Alfred Hitchcock and Charles Laughton.
Other Hitchcockian stars who frequented L'Étoile included Sean Connery, Gregory Peck, Ingrid Bergman, Laurence Olivier and John Gielgud.
