MINEHEAD
Somerset Scenery for the Films.
Mr Alfred Hitchcock, the young director of the British International Film Company, is now at Minehead engaged in filming the exteriors for the film version of "The Farmer's Wife," Eden Philpott's comedy. With him is Miss Lilian Hall-Davis, who is taking the star part. Mr Hitchcock stated that more of the west country scenery would be introduced, and that beauty spots in the district would be visited to acquire the background for a film which would be representative of old English country life.
