Walter Percy Day
Biography
Walter Percy Day O.B.E. (1878−1965) was a British painter best remembered for his work as a matte artist and special effects technician in the film industry.
Day worked on a number of classic films, including The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943), A Matter of Life and Death (1946), Black Narcissus (1947) and The Third Man (1949).
