"Vicious Circle" was originally broadcast on 14/Apr/1957 as part of the second season of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Synopsis
Manny Cole is a hitman for Mr. Williams. He kills a man for messing up a jewel robbery. When Cole's girlfriend finds out about the murder, she accuses him of committing it and threatens to go to the police. Mr. Williams orders her killed. Cole tries to but she is later accidently killed when hit by a car. Cole is rewarded by Mr. Williams and becomes his right-hand man. Mr. Williams, however, becomes fond of another young hitman, who eventually takes out Cole. (TV.com)
