THE FILM WORLD
The next film to be made by Mr. Alfred Hitchcock will be a screen version of Mr. Jefferson Farjeon's play No. 17. It will be produced at the Elstree studios of the British International Pictures, with a cast including Mr. Leon M. Lion, Miss Anne Grey, Mr. Donald Calthrop, Miss Ann Casson, Mr. Henry Caine, and Mr. Garry Marsh. The British International organization will also produce during the next few weeks New Year's Eve, an original story by Mr. Cecil Lewis, who will himself direct the production; The Maid of the Mountains, a screen version of Mr. Frederick Lonsdale's musical play, to be directed by Mr. Milton Rosmer; a film version of Mr. John Van Druten's play London Wall, to be directed by Mr. Thomas Bentley; Brother Alfred, a story by Mr. P. G. Wodehouse and Mr. Herbert Westbrook.
