The Cunarder Berengaria, 52,226 tons, while in port at Southampton recently, was used as the largest floating studio in the history of the film industry. Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, of British International Films, directed screening operations, and although the plot has not been disclosed, it is understood to represent a mid-Atlantic drama. The work was carried out mainly at night, and 30 arc lamps, aggregating 4,000,000 candle power, were used.
