Donald Mason is a married professor who wants to end an affair with one of his students. He visits her while she is babysitting. He tries to end the relationship, but she threatens to expose him. He kills her and leaves a witness: the screaming baby she was watching. Mason later runs into the infant in a carriage on the street. The baby screams and cries after seeing him. Haunted by the child's screams, Mason gives himself up. Later, he discovers that the baby had only been around women his entire life, and that it screamed whenever a man came near. (TV.com)
