Spellbound Alfred Hitchcock; USA 1945; PT; £9.99; B/W; Certificate PG
Ingrid Bergman plays Doctor Constance Petersen, a psychiatrist, whose amnesiac patient, John Ballantine (Gregory Peck) suspects he may have committed murder. As if the premise isn't disquieting enough anyway, Hitchcock throws in dream sequences (designed by Salvador DaIi) and a score (courtesy of Miklos Rosza) in which the electrical wail of the theremin is prominent. Digitally remastered rerelease. (MFB No. 151)
