Biography
Remigius Oswalt Gassmann (1908-1982) was an American composer, critic, educator and pianist, and was a pioneer of electronic sound and music.
Along with German composer Oskar Sala, Gassmann created the electronic soundtrack for Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963).
