OBITUARY

His short stories were included four times in the Anthology of Best Detective Stories of the Year. He published more than 200 short stories and articles that appeared in various publications, including Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, the Saturday Evening Post, New Yorker Magazine and Northeast Magazine.

Mr. Sisk worked as a reporter for the Bridgeport Post and the now-defunct Bridgeport Sunday Herald before joining the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co. in 1946. He retired in 1971.

Born Oct. 6, 1915, Mr. Sisk was a World War II veteran of the Marine Corps and a 1933 graduate of Bridgeport High School.
