Maurice Herbert Evans (1901–1989) was an English actor noted for his interpretations of Shakespearean characters.

He took a stage production of Hamlet to Broadway in 1938 and later acted as a defence witness in a plagiarism law suit filed by Irving Fiske against Alfred Hitchcock, which went to court in New York in October 1954.
