Abstract
Since the publication of the 1981 bibliography, Bowen studies has exploded in a variety of areas, including but not limited to Anglo-Irish identity, war literature, gothic literature, lesbian studies, postcolonialism, and women's literature. For scholars with interest in transnational studies, a number of recent translations of Bowen's work have been published in countries including Germany, Italy, France, Japan, and Brazil-a list of which is located below. Bowen scholarship is on a steady increase, and I hope that this bibliography will not only provide a solid starting place for those interested in recent publications within the field but will also offer a jumping off point for new research on Bowen in neglected areas. The bibliography is organized first according to texts by Bowen omitted in the Sellery and Harris text and published since 1981, then by scholarship on her life and career, and finally by scholarship on her work: I. Manuscripts, Dissertations, and Theses Partially About Bowen Although I have attempted to include an exhaustive list of scholarship on Bowen not previously inventoried, I apologize for any inadvertent omissions. While research databases and tools are continually updated and improved, no database (or databases) contains every published entry due to cataloguing, cross-referencing, and submission discrepancies, thereby making the inclusion of every Bowen text published and not included within the 1981 bibliography impossible.
