Biography
Jon Finch (1942–2012) was an English actor noted for many Shakespearean roles. He is perhaps best known for playing Macbeth in Roman Polanski's film The Tragedy of Macbeth (1971) and as the anti-hero in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller Frenzy (1972).
In later life, Finch suffered from diabetes and was found dead in his flat on 28th December 2012 after friends and family became concerned for his welfare.
