PICTURES IN SPAIN.

Alma Reveille (Mrs. Alfred Hitchcock in private life) tells me that she has some excellent material for her Spanish story, which is soon to be made by British International Pictures. Alexandre D'Arcy is to play the leading part, I understand. If this is the case, the land of señoritas has a new thrill coming to it, for Alexandre has much of that subtle quality which makes a Rudolph Valentino. Immediately after the recent trade show of "Paradise," the London press was flooded with headlines like: "Ideal Screen Lover Found at Last."
