Film maker Alfred Hitchcock, above, "vanished" on his way to Singapore over the weekend and the master of suspense has provided the colony with a real life Hitchcock mystery. People who have been waiting for him for two days were in suspense since his whereabouts was unknown. Early today, however, the mystery was cleared up by the movie maker himself. Hitchcock cabled that his plane had been held up in Bangkok by engine problems.
