Mr. Robert Donat's Illness

Mr. Robert Donat, owing to illness, has withdrawn from the cast of the new Gaumont British film "Sabotage," now being directed at the Shepherd's Bush Studios by Mr. Alfred Hitchcock.

Mr. Donat was to star opposite Miss Sylvia Sidney, but the effects of bronchitis have made him stop work for several weeks. The production of "Sabotage" cannot be postponed as Miss Sidney must return to Hollywood soon.

The is the fourth big film opportunity Mr. Donat has missed since his success in "The Count of Monte Cristo." He was sought for the title parts in "Captain Blood" and "Anthony Adverse," and for the part of Romeo in the film "Romeo and Juliet."
