Scottie's Apartment
The exterior shots of Scottie's apartment were filmed at 900 Lombard Street on Thursday 3rd October, 1957.[1]
The interior of the apartment was created on the studio soundstage and, at the specific request of Hitchcock, included a window view of Coit Tower that wasn't visible from the actual building on Lombard Street.[2][3]
In 2012, the owners of the property erected an exterior wall and repainted the distinctive red chimney to deter sightseers.[4]
