Abstract
Christopher Emmanuel Balestrero, bass player at Manhattan's Stork Club in 1953, is one of the few bassists graced with a biopic. Alfred Hitchcock's 1956 film "The Wrong Man" depicts Balestrero's experience being wrongfully accused of a robbery. The film is discussed, and Balestrero's life after the film is briefly described.
