To Catch a Thief (1955)
The Château de la Croix-des-Gardes, located at 145 Boulevard Leader, was used as the "Sanford Villa" in To Catch a Thief. The entrance to the villa in the film was filmed at a separate location over 20km away.
The Château was also featured in Alain Resnais's L'année dernière à Marienbad (1961).
The masqueraded ball at the end of the film takes place at the Sanford Villa, but was filmed entirely on the sound stages at Paramount.
